Summary
This position provides service to all production and administration areas with delivery or storage of materials and equipment. This position receives, stores, and issues inventoried items needed for manufacturing or research, and ships final product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position include the following, although other duties may be assigned.]
- Receiving Responsibilities
- Unloads shipment, signs for shipment, and inspects condition of shipment.
- Processes receipts into QAD system and complete receiving log.
- Moves material to next station.
- Maintains appropriate records for the receiving area.
- Delivery Responsibilities
- Delivers non-inventory items as requested.
- Delivers non-inventory shipment deliveries to requisitioner.
- Delivers inventory items per request.
- Storekeeping Responsibilities
- Picks inventory items as requested utilizing FIFO method.
- Labels incoming shipment deliveries as needed.
- Processes (issues) items to the QAD system.
- Cycle counting, to include research and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- Shipping Responsibilities
- Prepares final product for shipment
- Picks, packs and ships final product packages, ensuring adherence to GMPs, traceability and accountability
- General Responsibilities
- Housekeeping and maintaining a clean, organized working environment.
- Training on area procedures and specific responsibilities.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1–2 years experience in shipping, warehouse, inventory control, or receiving environment. Fork Lift Operator training useful. Familiar with inventory control, FIFO, security and flow of product. Familiar with GMP helpful. Able to be insured for driving company vehicle a must.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Able to lift 70 lbs and work in 32º F refrigerator for 1-4 hours per day. Will be standing, moving and lifting 80 % of the time. Must be able to utilize order picker which extends operator approximately 20 feet off the surface of the warehouse floor. May be required to operate forklift once training has been completed
